On the Second Day...

Once again I ventured out today to train as a priest in the field. Again it only took a short while to progress from level 5 to level 10, but during this time I learned a few good lessons.

1. My holy powers are slowly becoming stronger.
2. Those of two levels higher than myself can often defeat me if I'm not careful.
3. Dying is horrible, trying to reconnect my soul with my body is worse.
4. All this errand walking is making my feet ache, and takes a good portion of my time to travel from place to place. A mount must be purchased as soon as I'm deemed ready for such a beast.

I find the world outside of the orphanage to be full of pain, and yet so full of beauty. I was sent into the Dead Scar on several missions today, and while it cannot be saved from the damage that Arthas has caused, I still yearn to cleanse it and bring it back to its original beauty. If only I could make the people there return to their proper sanity and make the grass grow green again! Despite this horrible mark upon Quel'Thalas, there are still many golden trees to sit under and beautiful golden dragonhawks to watch. I'm also fascinated with the architecture of my people. What cleaver beings us Sin'dorei are!

Today my journeys not only took me across the lands of my people, but I ended up venturing into the fabled Silvermoon City. So bustling, so beautiful! There I was able to choose my professions, and for now I shall be an enchanter. While I love the thought of engineering, I may eventually choose to pick up tailoring instead. Also while I was in our great capital, I was able to speak to a while priest who taught me some new spells. While some of these spells are a bit shadowy in nature, which makes me highly uncomfortable, I find my new found knowledge a blessing.

After I had finished with my training, I spent many hours in the Bazaar and the Royal Exchange shopping for goods. Sadly I didn't have enough gold to purchase much, but a kind death knight troll lent me five gold. He introduced himself as Drazzu, and told me that some day great things would come of me. I thanked him kindly and he set off on his journey to the Undercity. I'm not quite sure what the basis this troll has to predict my future, but I certainly hope he is right. I also hope to one day run into this kind soul again.

I still feel as though the priesthood may not help out in my mission to help my sister, but even though my tasks thus far have been mundane, I'm starting to get a stirring within. Perhaps I do have some talent in dealing with all things holy after all, and it's just waiting to be fully discovered. Maybe.

Again, it has become late and I'm told that I shall need my strength and whit for what is to come. Tonight I sleep in a lavish bed in an inn in our glorious Silvermoon City.

Anu belore dela'na.
